| 1151 | Ruby Kathleen “Kathy” Hubbard Speakman, age 61, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was an associate of Walmart for over ten years. She was an avid Ohio State fan and always the “life of the party” and “center of attention.” She “never met a stranger.” She enjoyed playing cards, cornhole and watching OSU football games with her husband. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and cherished having gatherings at her home. She was born December 16, 1956 in Delaware to the late Alvy and Mary Ward Hubbard, Sr. and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, McKenzie Carter; her mother and father-in-law, Cora and Roy Speakman; her nephew, Tony Helton; her niece, Angel Carvis; and a sister, Barb Bouchard. She is survived by her her husband of 44 years, Daniel L. Speakman, whom she married March 10, 1973 in Marysville; fours daughters, Kitty (Scott Alley) Speakman of Columbus, Christie (Barb) Speakman of Marysville, Danielle (Adam) Culwell and Nicole (Joe) Hall of Ashley; her grandchildren, Karma Schoby, Finny Slaven, Justin and Kisandra Tignor, Kyle, Alisha and Zachary Culwell, Jacob Lawrence, Austin, Jolie and Avery Hall; great-grandchildren, Kyla Fraker and Liam Culwell; her siblings, Bernice “Jo” (Bill) Wilson, Alvy (Cindy) Hubbard, Brenda (Denton) Helton and Tennyson “Tink” Hubbard; a sister-in-law, Vicki (Phil) Huey; a brother-in-law, Dale (Patti) Speakman; and many nieces and nephews, including her special nieces, Tami “Sis” (John) Michael, Chrystal Matthews and Melanie Walter; and a good friend, Clay Simpson. | 1152 | Russell Dean Watson age 70 of Clear Lake, Indiana and formerly of Archbold Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on November 6, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic, where he had been failing in health for the past 7 weeks. Russ received a single lung transplantation on August 29th,2017 and although that incredible gift granted him an extra year of life on this earth, he endured many struggles. He was born on July 24, 1948 in Urbana, Ohio to Bert and Minnie Watson and they precede him in death. Also preceding him in death are 3 brothers, Ralph , Roger and Ray Watson along with a nephew, Jeffrey Watson and father-n-law Charles Frazer. Russ was a BGSU graduate. On August 1st, 1970 he married Janis (Dean) Watson and she survives. He spent 47 years of his career dedicated to building the Russ Watson Financial Agency in Archbold. Helping others brought him great joy and it was evident in the top-notch care that he always provided his clients. He received many honors for his outstanding sales and performance over the years, among them he was recognized twice as the National Leader of the company. He and his wife Janis raised 3 children in the Archbold area and upon retirement moved to Clear Lake, Indiana. Together they loved lake life and all of the memories made with friends and family. He loved taking the grandkids on boat rides, fishing, tubing, trips to the ice cream store on the golf cart, and spoiling them with morning donuts. He delighted in seeing his grandkids enjoy all of the lake toys. His family hosted a surprise 70thbirthday party at the lake in July for him and that was the highlight of his summer. In the recent years, the winter months were spent in Venice, Florida. He loved to be in the sunshine, take bike rides, and cruise the intercoastal with his wife. He looked forward to having the kids and grandkids visit. He also loved Jesus, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and farming (in that order). Left to forever cherish his memory in addition to his wife Janis are his sons Christopher (Stacey) Watson of Arlington Heights IL, Eric (Sheila) Watson of Whitehouse, OH and daughter Stacee (Nick) Lukachek of Whitehouse, OH and his much adored grandchildren Aidan and Ethan Watson, Cooper and Kora Watson and Josie and Jayce Lukachek. He is also survived by mother n law Carmen Frazer, sister n laws Joan Watson, Janice Watson, Brenda (Tom) Duvendack, Ann (Dan) Pape and brother n laws Ron (Denise) Dean, Larry (Michelle) Dean and Dean (Kim) Frazer and many nieces and nephews who were very special to him. Visitation will be held at the Archbold Evangelical Church on Sunday November 11thfrom 2:00 -7:00 pm. A celebration of Russ’s life will take place on Monday November 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Archbold Evangelical Church. Private interment will take place in Whitehouse, Ohio. | 1153 | Ruth Ann "Ruthie" Hildreth, 32, of Kenton, passed away at 9:05 a.m., on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton. She was born September 25, 1982 in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of Ronald E. and Eva E. (Floyd) Hildreth. Her mother Eva Hildreth survives in Kenton. Ruth is survived by her brother Ronald Lee (Jenni) Hildreth of Kenton, OH and her sister Michelle Lynn (Nick) Johns of Upper Sandusky, OH. She was preceded by her father Ronald E. Hildreth December 23, 2013. A funeral service for Ruth Hildreth will be held Wednesday December 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the SCHINDEWOLF STOUT CRATES Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Dooley officiating. | 1154 | Ruth B. Bowman, 92, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Auburn, IN. She was born on September 8, 1927 in rural Butler to the late Russell Lowell and Zelma Ethel (Miser) Houser. Ruth married Joseph E. Bowman on January 1, 1946 at the Methodist Parsonage in Butler, IN. and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1998. She was a fine homemaker. She was a long standing member of the Butler United Methodist Church. Her fingers were busy all the time crafting, gardening (well known for her pickles), crocheting, sewing, but although her greatest passion was spending time with family. Surviving are two daughters and two sons; Cheryl K. Markiton of Auburn, Carole J. (Phil) Bard of Auburn, Joseph N. (Sandra) Bowman of Hamilton, and Bruce E. (Cecelia) Bowman of Clayton, IN. Also surviving includes several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son; Brian C. Bowman (1960-1990) and three brothers; Wayne Houser, Carroll Houser, and Junior Houser. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, burial will be private in the Butler Cemetery. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time and helping family and friends. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, raising and showing horses, bowling, crafting and playing cards. Ruth was a 40-year resident of Nitro and a former hostess at Bob Evans restaurant in Cross Lanes, and attended Twin City Bible Church, Nitro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucian and Delsie Nicely; and her loving husband of 40 years, James Wheeler. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Joyce Cooper and husband, Roger, of Dunbar and Sharon Krasyk and fiancé, Bill Whittaker, of Nitro; her brother, Joe Nicely of Glendale, Ariz.; two grandsons, Jimmy Cooper and C. He was born October 30, 1936 in Richwood, WV, a son of the late Earl and Gladys Hosey McClung. Mr. McClung was a 1956 graduate of Parkersburg High School and served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He was a retired sheet metal worker and worked for Ravenswood Aluminum. He attended Vienna Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Manoka Collins McClung; one daughter, Tina Hawley (Gary) of Covington, VA; one son, Derek McClung (Jenny) of Williamstown, WV; four grandchildren, Amanda Sprouse (John), Gary Lee Hawley (Stephanie), Joshua McClung and Corey McClung; one great-grandchild, Kenneth Sprouse; two brothers, Gerald McClung of Vienna and Kenneth Gene McClung of Midlothian, VA and several nieces and nephews. She survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bruce Roberts; daughter, Gennie Villers and her husband, Randy of Elizabeth; son, Charles Roberts of Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Josh Villers of Parkersburg and James Roberts of Wrightsville, Pa.; two brother -in-laws, Larry and Darrell Roberts of Elizabeth; three sister-in-laws, Dorothy Via of Elizabeth, Vesta Bunner of Vienna and Garnet Whited of Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews. | 1163 | Sarah A. Barth Perkins, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, FL. She was born September 15, 1921, in West Union, WV, to the late Dewey and Frances Barth. Sarah is survived by her daughters, Melissa Ihlanfeldt of Apopka, FL, with whom she resided for many years, and Melinda Oliverio and husband P.B. of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Michael Oliverio and wife Laura of Harmony, PA, Michelle Cook of Debary, FL, Bobby Oliverio and wife Samantha of Fairmont, and Rick Ihlanfeldt of Jacksonville, NC; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Cook of Debary, FL, Haylee Ihlanfeldt of Jacksonville, NC, and Allessandra Marie Oliverio of Harmony, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Perkins. Sarah worked as a teller for Lowndes Bank in Clarksburg and helped to manage Perkins TV Sales and Service for many years. She was an avid reader, boater, square dancer, golfer and cat lover. Sarah was actively involved in the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg for over 20 years. She loved singing in the church choir and continued singing in the choir at Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, FL, where she was a member until her health prohibited. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Comforter for the love and care they provided to Sarah in her final days. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. She was born on December 9, 1999 in Marion, Ohio to George and Rhonda J. (Andrews) Taylor. Madison was a third grader at Buckeye Valley West School in Ostrander. She enjoyed life. She loved singing and dancing with her twin sister- Emily “Morgan”, putting on shows for their Grandmother. She also enjoyed playing with her friends, camping, swimming, soccer and drawing. She wanted to become a singer as an adult. She especially enjoyed being an aunt. Madison has a very large family and enjoyed being with all of them. Surviving are her parents- George and Rhonda J. He was born in Erbacon, WV on July 14, 1933, son of Norva and Flora (Williams) Smith. Derl was employed as a truck repairman for 20 years at General Motors in Lordstown. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army with 20 years of service as a maintenance truck foreman. He attended Kent State University for two years. He was a life member and past Commander of the Salem Amvets Post 45. He was preceded in death by two children, Deborah Kay Fike and Lewis Keith Smith; four sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include his wife Carol (Morrison) Smith whom he married August 6, 1979; four sons Jerry Allen Smith of Beloit, Stephen Daryl Smith of Salem, Waid Frederick Smith of Sebring, Dwight Edgar Smith of Sebring; one daughter Lisa Dawn Smith of Alliance; a sister Joann Hull, from Weston, WV; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. | 1197 | Selina Osborne Mary Selina Osborne, 44, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2009, after a courageous six-year battle with breast cancer. Born on July 1, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles Richard and Mary Elizabeth Andrix McCarley of Columbus, Ohio. Selina, a devoted and loving wife and mother, was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and was very involved in her husband and children's lives, supporting them in wrestling and football. In addition to her parents, Selina is survived by her husband, Craig Allen Osborne, whom she married on May 8, 1983; sons, Michael, Aaron and Connor Osborne, of the home; brother, David Mc-Carley and wife, Annette, of Newark, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Alma Andrix, of Columbus, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 23, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park. | 1198 | September Daye Snow, 53, of North Platte, passed away Nov. 10, 2015. September was the 3rd of 6 girls, born to Eldon Lawerence “Larry” & Janet “Jan” Webb on September 24th 1962, in Wichita Falls, TX. September’s father was in the Air Force, which took her family all over the world during her childhood. After he retired from the Air Force, they chose Aurora, Colorado to call home. At the age of 19, September gave birth to her first child, a girl, Crystal, on August 21st 1981. Followed by Dawn on February 13th 1983 and Craig on April 3rd 1985. At 24, September met the man of her dreams, Tracy Snow, and gave birth to their son Kyle on May 19th 1987 which completed her family. September and Tracy wed on March 10th 1995. In 2000, September and Tracy moved the family to North Platte, Nebraska, where they lived happily together until Tracy death October 24th 2014. September loved life. She loved being a mom & a wife, a grandma, a sister, an aunt, a daughter & a friend. She showed us all, what unconditional love is. She had that smile that reached her eyes. She was very giving and kind to everyone she came across. She would give her last dollar to someone on the street just so they can eat, even if she was hungry. September will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her. September was preceded in death by her husband Tracy Snow, her father Eldon Lawrence Webb, her mother Janet Webb, & her nieces, Chandelle Webb, and Carol Jackson. September is survived by her 2 daughters, Crystal Webb and Dawn VanMeter, 2 sons, Craig (Jessica Humphrey) VanMeter and Kyle (Brittany Davis) Snow, all of North Platte. Her 5 sisters, Denise (Tom) Lewis of Wichita Kansas, Michelle (Dave) Robinson of North Platte Nebraska, Dana (Bob) Jackson of Colorado, Donna (Jeff) Waffle of Colorado and Trina (Jim) Bazan of Colorado. Her 10 grandchildren, Ariana, Damian, Aliya, Matthew, Nathen, Jediah, Javyn, Triden, Kaelub, and Beckham, all of North Platte, & many nieces & nephews. September’s memorial service will be held on Sunday November 22nd at 3 p.m. at the Senior Center in North Platte for anyone wishing to attend. George Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mill Creek. He was a coal miner and a member of Birch River Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Flow; four sons, Lawrence of Cleveland O., James F. of Akron O., and Kermit and Jerry, both at home; 11 daughters, Mrs. James Brown, Mrs. Virgil Hoover, and Mrs. Earl Campbell all of Birch River; Mrs. Edward Kniceley of Barberton, O., Mrs. Darrell Rose of Sutton; Mrs. Charles Brown of Elyria, O., Misses Joan, Janice, Elizabeth, Debra Lynn, and Paulette, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Andy Evans of Cowen, four brothers, Richard of Tesla; Fred of Sutton, Austin and Ezra of Worthington: three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Quickle of Farmington; Mrs. Josephine Beam of Cowen, and Mrs. Richard Riffle of Phoenix, Ariz.; and 24 grandchildren. | 1200 | Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church, 312 S. 8th St. in El Centro, for Margaret Louise "Peggy" Whitelaw Yeager, 86, of El Centro, who died Monday in her home. Mrs. Yeager was born on May 5, 1915, in Los Angeles and moved to Calexico as a baby. She attended local schools and graduated from University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in English and art. While at Berkeley, she met Russell H. Yeager and they married shortly after their graduation. She was a homemaker most of her life, raising four children. Mrs. Yeager was an accomplished musician and artist. Once she played a recital at age 12, accompanying her mother on the piano, who was a former symphony violinist. Her home was filled with her paintings, according to family. She was a member of the Imperial Valley Art Association, Presbyterian Women's Guild, American Association of University Women, Harding School PTA, Cal Berkeley Alumni Association, The Humane Society and Imperial County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell H. Yeager, in 1984. Survivors include her son, Russ D. Yeager of El Centro; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Dinah Yeager of El Centro; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Herb Pierson of El Centro and Dru and Scott Holbrook of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Zack Yeager of Costa Mesa, Sara Yeager of Hollywood, Nicholas Yeager, Angela Cotugno, Christian Zuin and Kate, Kelly, Kimberly and David Pierson, all of El Centro, and Lauren Holbrook of Bakersfield. | WHITELAW, Margaret Louise (I422460665542)
