He was preceded in death by his wife, Dinah Lynn Hammons and brother, Scotty Hammons. He is survived by, 2 Daughters, Misty Dawn and husband, Kenny Adkins, Craigsville, WV, Vera Hammons, Cowen, WV; Step-Daughter, Crystal Robinson, SC; Mother and Step-father, Doris and Jane Bragg, Tioga, WV; Sister, Vonda and husband, John Jones, Beckley, WV; 2 Grandchildren, Michael Adkins and Braiden Paugh; 1 Niece, Michelle Dodrill; 2 Nephews, Charles Hamrick and Aaron Hammons. Graveside service will be held Friday, April 22, 2011, at 2:00PM in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Tioga, WV with Pastor Pat Greene officiating. Internment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Tioga, WV.
