Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jo Ann Boyce; and one daughter, Brenda Joyce. Louise was born November 11, 1928, in Kanawha County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Elma Thompson Boyce. Louise is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bertin O. Lawson of West Portsmouth, Ohio; one son, Bobby (Jan) Lawson of South Yarmouth, Mass.; three daughters, Stella (Billy) Lenox of Huntsville, Ala., Judy (Randy) Watson of Bartlett, Tenn., and Lois (Roger) Riggs of South Point, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester and Edward Boyce; and three sisters, Francis Patton, Janice Burns and Karen Erskine. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
