  Notes	Phyllis Ruth Schwisow 1929 ~ 2017 Phyllis Ruth Schwisow, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 of natural causes. Phyllis was born on January 2, 1929 as an only child to Phillip J. and Ruth M. Turck at Moore MT. She moved to McMinnville, OR with her family where she graduated from high school in 1947 and married Roy Hougham later that year. Together they had three children, Mike, Wayne and Kent. She married Herb Risner in 1962 in Marysville, CA and had another son, Garland in 1964 and they moved to Idaho to the home on Chinden later that same year. In 1970 Phyllis attended Links School of Business and began a professional career. She worked for KBOI for several years and had been employed by the Idaho Department of Employment when she retired. She married Gordon Clever in 1977 and they joined families until his passing in 1985. She married Ed Schwisow in 1989 and they enjoyed a joint retirement and traveling until his passing in 1996. She moved from Chinden to the La Playa "Over 55" community in 1998 where she enjoyed living until moving to the Valley View Retirement Center in 2014. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Phillip and Ruth Turck, previous husbands, Gordon Clever, Ed Schwisow, and son Wayne Hougham. She is survived by her Sons, Michael Garner (Pat), Kent Hougham, and Garland (Sue) Risner, chosen family Duane (Darlene) Schwisow, Joann (Don) Bow, Connie (Bruce) Freckleton and Sherry Johnson. She had extended family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren both biological and by marriage all of whom will miss her feisty personality. Services will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Summers Funeral Home, 3629 E. Ustick Road, Meridian, Idaho. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the El Korah Patient Travel Fund, 1118 W. Idaho St., Boise, ID 83702.
