  Notes	Carol Marie Wheeler, 84, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at her daughter's residence, surrounded with love by her 3 children, and walked into the loving arms of her husband, who had been waiting for her. Carol was born on Sunday, August 14, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio to Albert Carol and Zona Marie (Bensley) Stiffler. On May 23, 1959, she married Edward L. Wheeler. They were blessed to be married just shy of 61 years before Ed's passing on April 24, 2020. She was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church in Geneva, IN. Carol retired from CTS in Berne, IN after 35 years of service. She also kept herself busy, working at Wal-Mart in the cash office and the United Way of Adams County. Carol was an affectionate wife, a loving mother, and an awesome grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, entertaining, playing cards and hanging out with her kids. Carol and Ed enjoyed their winters in Florida, where they made many long-term friendships.
