She was born on December 30, 1945, to Ray and Bertha (Harberger) Thorp in North Union Township, Pennsylvania. Rosemary enjoyed visiting Oak Openings, looking at the wildlife, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Char), James (Peaches), John (Rikki) and Peter (Sarah); eight grandchildren; four sisters; six brothers, and several other extended family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Ray Preston, Jr., and one sister and one brother. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
