  Notes	LAURINBURG — Margaret Louise Foreman Harding, 87, died on July 11, 2016. Margaret was a daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie Parish Foreman born December 3, 1928 in Hancock County, Ohio. She was the devoted wife to the late Richard Ralph Harding, a homemaker and a wonderful mother to her four children. She and her family are charter members of the Lutheran Church of the Living Word. Margaret enjoyed her volunteer work with Scotland Memorial Hospital, American Red Cross and with the Scotland County Board of Elections. She loved playing Bridge and sharing time with her Bridge Clubs. In earlier years, she was also an outstanding bowler. Above all, Margaret cherished the love of her family and sharing time with friends. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evalyn Marie Halstead. Margaret is survived by her children, Richard R. Harding, Jr., (Nancy) of Woodstock, GA, Judith "Judy" Ann McMillan (Jim) of Laurinburg, Thomas Ray Harding of Glenville and Jeanne Marie Harding of Monroe; a brother, Stuart Foreman of Sunset Beach and sister, Barbara Sue Boston of Fort Wayne, IN; six grandchildren, Ron Baucom, Jr., Jessica H. Graham, Jaime Puthoff, Sharon W. Payne, Brandon R. Smith, Wesley Foster Mundy; seven great grandchildren, Amber Faith Baucom, Eva Graham, Audrey Graham, Colin Puthoff, Cameron Puthoff, Grayson Mundy, Dalton Mundy and her nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, at the Lutheran Church of the Living Word officiated by The Rev. Linda B. Nelson. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. and then immediately following the service. In Mrs. Harding's memory, the family requests that memorial donations be given to the Lutheran Church of the Living Word, 1925 South Main Street, Laurinburg, NC 28352 or to the American Cancer Society.
