He was born July 27, 8, in Kenton, the son of Frederick and Lucretia "Pat" (Robinson) Walters. On Aug. 31, 8, he married Deb Floyd, who survives. He was a 7 graduate of Tinora High School and a parachute rigger with the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam. He was a laborer at GM Powertrain, retiring in 3, and a member of AMVETS Post 1 and Union Local . He was a life member of DAV Chapter 36 and coached Little League Football in Defiance, serving as president and commissioner. He also coached the Pirates from.
Also surviving are two sons, Jamie (Dee) Walters of Defiance and Scott (Tina) Walters, Waterloo, Ind.; a daughter, Angela (James) Walters-Brewer, Defiance; a brother, Gene (Mary) Walters, Defiance; and seven grandchildren, Jessica Walters, Ashlee Walters, Tomas Wiler, Whitney Wiler, Taylor Walters and Tara and Taryn Brewer.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, 7, in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Yazel officiating.
