She formerly lived in Webster County and lived in Weston since 1969. She enjoyed gardening, bird and animal watching and spending time with family. She is survived by her daughters, Eloise (Tony) Cowgar of Diana, Catherine Tenney of Weston, Marie Myers of Corey, PA, Selva (Chester) Mick of Martinsburg; sons, Charles (Barbera) Brooks of Colfax, NC, Donald (Beatrice) Brooks of Diana, Golden Hamrick of Weston, Daniel Hamrick of Weston, Jay (Velvet) Fultineer of Weston; grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal, Buddy, Mary and Okey Brooks, Sharon Bibb, Bendetta Crouse, Tonya Cowgar, Marty and Joe Tenney, Tina Myers, Brittany and Cierra Mick, Timothy Hamrick, Matthew and Zachary Wright; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley and Janet Brooks and Delia Ruth Treciak. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husbands, Okey Brooks, Acil Hamrick and Dan Fultineer; children, Okey Brooks and Francis Brooks; grandchild, Melissa Wilkins; sisters, Lily Brooks, Violet Carpenter, Estie Hall, Rosie Hall; and brother, Frank Hall. Funeral services were held at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, on September 27 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Burial was held at Big Run cemetery, Diana.
