  Notes	CLARKSBURG — Mr. Loren Lee Flanigan, age 77, of Clarksburg, the Sardis Community, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family at his side. He was born on April 25, 1937, in Clarksburg, WV, the only child to Charles Raymond and Novella Genevive Harbert Flanigan. He retired from the Harrison County School Board as an Administrative Assistant. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Glenna Jane Knight Flanigan, whom he married on March 19, 1963; 5 children and spouses, Michael Flanigan and his companion, Debbie Adams, Marsha and Don Anderson, Marilyn and Earl Young, Mitzie and Chuck Reider and Melinda and Todd Webster; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; the family would like to also thank his special caregiver, Katie Whitehair. At his request, there will be no viewing and he will be cremated. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014, from the WV National Cemetery at 1 p.m., where full military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard. The family asks that in-lieu of flowers, donations be made to People’s Hospice at 300 Davisson Run Rd, Clarksburg, WV 26301. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and honored to serve the Flanigan family.
