  Notes	David Jackson Ward David Jackson Ward, 77, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Hallie (Sovine) Ward; a son, Michael Ward; a brother, Joe Ward; and a sister, Dale Ward. He was retired from the Army with 20 years of service and retired from Collis as plant manager with 20 years of service. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna B. Ward; two sons, Rory (Judy) Ward and Jeff Ward, all of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Debra (Jim) Ward of Glendale; a brother, Todd Ward; three half-brothers, Rex, Junior and Terry; three half-sisters, Marie, Ruby and Alma; four grandchildren, Nicole, David, Michael and Sarah; four great-grandchildren, Lilian, Logan, Avien and Jayden; and a favorite nephew, Bobby. The funeral was Monday, June 27, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Burial was in Valley Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
