  Notes	She was born to Dennis Lee and Almarinda McCourt. Opal was employed as an inspector at Dolly Madison's pickle factory for 25-plus years before retiring. She was a "lucky" lady, as she had the opportunity to travel on many occasions to places like Hawaii, Las Vegas and West Virginia. She enjoyed reading and a friendly game of cards with those she loved. She is survived by her daughters, Norma (Jerry) Pearce of Webster Springs, Pat (Ray) DeFoor, Carolyn "Sue" Borntrager and Rosemary Tiffner, all of Cambridge; son, Robert (Coleen) Tiffner of Zanesville; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Virginia McCourt of Webster Springs and Vesta Tiffner of Pickens, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sherman, on Aug. 3, 1969, who she married April 25, 1936; daughter, Phyliss Ann Distel; grandson, Stephen Distel; great-great-granddaughter, Brianna; five brothers; and four sisters.
