  Notes	Ronald E. Knight, Sr., age 82, passed away March 8, 2021. He was born on November 14, 1938 in Richwood, West Virginia, to the late Frederick Marshall and Orpha Ellen (Villers) Knight. He was born from coal mining country and knew coal dust and hard work. They say hardship early on forms the man, but it is the opposite with Ronald. He always chose his path he walked, no matter what he faced. His broad shoulders carrying us all. Very few people can be called a legend and have it ring true. Ronald was such a man. Not one who would ever claim the title himself because he was a kind, humble, and a full of living, boisterous man. He was larger than life to his family and friends. Many people commented on his large hands. Hard working hands, hard loving hands as large as his heart. His laugh was infectious. He loved making jokes almost as much as he loved sharing his world with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were his greatest joys. He would guide people through his life stories. You couldn’t see at first because you were laughing at his sharing wonderful crazy tales of his youth, but in his way he would lead you to understand and you grew. You grew wiser and better for knowing him. He made you feel important. He made sure that no one was left behind or left out. Countless people loved him deeply and he loved as fiercely back without prejudice if you were his blood or not. He was a talented woodworker, craftsman, plumber, jack of all trades. The most important was that he was self-taught. He would watch, learn, then improve on anything that was done. He was a brilliant man that knew answers, but was wise enough to know just because you know something doesn’t mean there wasn’t more to learn. He taught this lesson to all of his family. He taught us all countless lessons with love. We shine brightly and are a tight beautiful family of souls gathered still in his strength as we let him move on making a new place, till we all can join him once again. Ronald is survived by his wife Maria (Eustaquio) Knight; sons Ronald E. Knight Jr. (Diane) , Richard A. Knight (Paula); daughter Tina Sabol (Scott); grandchildren Richard A. Knight, Ronald E. Knight III, Kayleigh (Knight) McCann, Riley A. Knight, Nathan S. Sabol, and Elaina G. Sabol; great-grandchildren Ryker Knight, Kenton Knight, Piper Knight, Huxley Knight, Aila Knight, Claribelle Knight, Rowan McCann, Elowyn McCann, and Indie Knight; and his siblings Tommy, Arnie, and Bonnie Knight and David Zubricki. He was preceded in death by his brother Marshall Knight and his sister Molly Zubricki. Private services will be held.
