He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ercie Barrett and 5 brothers, Everette, Earl, Ern, and Ray Conrad. He was a WWII Veteran and retired with 25 years service from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He is survived by his children, Michael D. And Faye Conrad, Owatonna, Minn,; Patricia M. and Steve Robertson, Raleigh, NC; Laura M. and Ron Pape, Lincoln, NB; and Sandra J. Conrad, Lincoln, NB. Grandchildren, Jason T. Conrad, Denver, CO; Jeffery S. Robertson, Loddkoping, Sweden; Todd M. Robertson, Ashville, NC; and Rebecca L. Park, Lincoln, NB; great grandchildren, Tyler J., Samantha M., Lawson R., Amelia I., Elliot S., Sydney E., and Conrad B. Also surviving are one sister, Minnie McCauley, Mason, WV and sister-in-law, Kathleen Conrad of Burnsville, WV. A memorial service was held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Havelock United Methodist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
