- David was born December 11, 1960, in Wheeling, W.Va., son of Gordon and Patty Hammers Stewart.
He retired from PPG Industries as a machinist. He attended the Ash Avenue Church of God in Moundsville.
He is preceded in death by his father and his father-in-law, Walter “Cork” Winland.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Winland Stewart; two sons, Adam (Shelby) Stewart of Cameron, W.Va., and Isaac Stewart of Glen Easton, W.Va.; mother, Patty Stewart of Cameron, W.Va.; two sisters, Cindy (B.L.) Simms of Aleppo, Pa. and Kathy (Mike) Harris of Glen Easton, W.Va.; one brother, Chris (Wendy) Stewart; and mother-in-law, Alice Winland, all of Cameron, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Jocelyn Stewart; one step-grandson, Kasin Kupfer; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1109 Second St., Moundsville, WV, where a celebration of life will be held Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Ron McCoy officiating.
