  Notes	Mrs. Artie A. Mayse, age 87, of 801 Davisson Run Road, Clarksburg, WV (Formerly of Broadway ) died at 5:35 P.M. Thursday, February 12, 2004 at the Clarksburg Continuous Care Center following an extended illness. She was born in Webster Co., WV February 4, 1917 a daughter of the late Ernie and Cora Cogar McLean. Her husband, Budge Mayse, Sr. preceded her in death February 5, 1967. Surviving are, two sons and daughters-in-law, Budge M. and Judy Mayse, Jr., Country Club, Clarksburg, WV, and David L. and Jenny Mayse, Warren, OH, one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Clif ( Lois Lynn) Massie, Kenai, AK, one sister, Mrs. Bertie Jane Cutlip, Webster Co., WV, three grandchildren, Phillip Mayse, Honolulu, Hawaii, Lee Kelly Mayse, Chardon, OH, and Amy Mayse, Toledo, OH, two great grandchildren, Brittany and Bridgette Mayse, both of Honolulu, HI, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends, one very special close friend, Laymon J. Knicely, Kingsport, TN. Mrs. Mayse was also preceded in death by two half-brothers, Arden and Garce Hamrick, two brothers, Donald and Jack McLean and one sister, Edna McLean. Mrs. Mayse was a member of the Hammond United Methodist Church, a homemaker and she was a private home caregiver for many. There will be no visitation. A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Kathryn A. Ambler presiding. Interment Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hammond United Methodist Church, 515 Broadway Avenue, Clarksburg, WV 26301 in her memory. Davis-Weaver service.
