  Notes	Wilma Jean Epps, 68, of Mansfield, left this life on a beautiful Saturday morning, April 16, 2016, and went to be with the Lord Jesus. She was born May 30, 1947, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Eldon and Virginia (Williams) Smith. Wilma graduated from Madison High School with the Class of 1965, and Nationwide Beauty Academy in Columbus, Ohio. She was a managing cosmetologist for several years and later retired from Hawkins Markets after 20 plus years of service. Always looking for that great bargain, she enjoyed thrift stores and garage sales. Wilma enjoyed dining at Porky’s Restaurant where she and her husband, Gene Epps, met and fell in love. Her family was most important to her and she always put them first in her life. Left behind with wonderful memories of Wilma are her husband of 49 years, Gene Epps; five sons, Dale (Michelle) Epps of Mansfield, Brett Epps Sr. of New York, Jason Epps of Florida, Charles Epps of Virginia and David Epps of Mansfield; brother, Ken (Linda) Smith of Chadds Ford, PA; sister, Pat (Kirk) Kirkpatrick of Fort Wayne, IN; four sisters-in-law, Dora Fluke of Florida, Carol (Dan) Speck of Loudonville, Patsy Christy of Mansfield and Susan (Wes) Wagner of Mansfield; grandchildren and great-grandchildren galore, sweethearts all; and the greatest nieces and nephews anyone could ever have. She is also survived by an aunt, Marge Williams of Mansfield; a host of cousins; and countless good friends. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; son, Jeremy Epps; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Epps; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Crystal Epps; two brothers-in-law, Wayne L. Fluke and Michael J. Christy Sr.; former brother-in-law, James G. Jones; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Wilma’s family thanks OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, Crestline Nursing Center and Arbors at Mifflin for all the tender loving care they provided to Wilma. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A brief Celebration of Wilma’s life will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Casual attire for everyone attending is encouraged by the family. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
