  Notes	CARLSBAD CURRENT-ARGUS Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico February 24, 1977 MILES Services for Oscar Lee Miles, 68, who died Wednesday in a local hospital, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Denton Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry Roberts of Sunset Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Noble Slusher, Charles Allen, Paul Corder, Orville Parker, Dewey Lambert and Robert Stade. Miles had lived here for 17 years and had worked for Amax Chemical Corp. before retiring in 1971. He was a member of Local 181 Steelworkers Union, United Mine Workers in West Virginia. Miles was born in Webster County, W.Va., and moved here from Webster Springs, W.Va. Survivors include two sons, Ray L., Carlsbad, and Roger Allen, El Paso; three daughters, Mrs. Dennis Hall, Carlsbad, Mrs. Robert Shoup, Pharr, Tex., and Mrs. Elden Stribling, Edom, Tex.; two brothers, Ray Miles, Webster Springs, and Pat Miles, St. Johns, Ariz., and six grandchildren.
