  Notes	JAMES R. SEMER, 78, was called home by our Lord on Friday, May 10, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. Born Nov. 27, 1934, he was the son of the late Harry Paul Semer and Charlotte (Thatcher) Semer. He worked as a mechanic and retired from International Harvester. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 57. Jim was a motorcycle enthusiast and a collector from the age of 13. His primary interests were Classic Indians and Harley Davidsons. He was a long-term member of the American Motorcycle Association. He was the ultimate Roy Rogers and Gene Autry fan. He was fascinated with and a student of our world's history. "He loved his family very much." Surviving family include his sons, Michael (Edna) Semer of Ohio City, Ohio, Christopher (Susie) Semer of Middle Point, Ohio and John (Shirley) Semer of Convoy, Ohio; daughters, Marilyn Semer Diller and Cheryl Semer, both of Van Wert, Ohio; brother, Paul (Peg) Semer of Van Wert, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and friend, Dorothy Harvey of Springfield, Ohio. He was also preceded in passing by his brother, John Semer; sister, Patricia Baldauf; and one great-grandson. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
