Kandi was born March 2, 1962, in Allegan, the daughter of Cleve and Mary (Calloway) Simmons. Kandi graduated from Allegan High School in 1980. Surviving are her mother, Mary Simmons of Allegan; one sister, Mickey Truax and Keith Jackson of Grand Junction; two brothers, Cleve Jr. and Katie Simmons of Gobles, Richard Simmons of Allegan; six nieces, Miranda, Rosey and Alexiss Simmons, Keidria Jackson and Shinead Rice; six great nieces, Amy Villwock, Kara Rial, Jayden Bowen, Arry Ann Bowen and Kaydence Rice; one great nephew, Doc Holiday Villwock; two nephews, Roger and Paula Stolte-Villwock and Kodi Alan Simmons; two special friends, Cassandra Fletcher and Fred Hadd. She was preceded in death by her dad, Cleve Simmons. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 11-1 PM at The River Church in Allegan where the memorial service will be held at 1 PM. Pastor Jon Vugteveen will officiate. Private interment will take place at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Arrangements by the GORDEN FUNERAL RESIDENCE Allegan Chapel
