  Notes	Martha Ann Reed, 82, died at 9:05 a.m. June 23, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 14, 1930, in Allen County, the daughter of Clarence C. and Edna M. Crider Craft, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 16, 1949, she married Jack C. Reed, and he survives in Lima. Other survivors include five children, Theresa L. Reed, of Lima, Deborah A. Foster, of Wapakoneta, Ava C. (Jon) Garver, of Columbus, Lisa A. (Dale) Bendele, of Ottoville, and Joshua H. (Tanika) Reed, of Lima; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary (Eugene) Balthaser, of Williamsburg, Va., and Judith Shears, of Orlando, Fla.; She was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Craft. A homemaker, Martha worked as a private duty nurse's aide. She was a 1949 graduate of Spencerville High School and attended nurses aid training at Apollo Career Center. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and served as a Eucharistic minister. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and playing the piano, as well as other instruments. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Rev. David M. Ross will officiate. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Gethsemani Cemetery. Lima News June 24, 2013
