  Notes	P. Merle Michael, 89, of Durham Street, Sistersville, died May 23, 1997, at her residence. She was born in Next, WVa., a daughter of the late Charles R. and Louisa Haught Fiber. She was a homemaker and member of Sistersville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brady E. Michael; four brothers, Lloyd Fiber, Creel Fiber, Charles Fiber and Winnie Fiber; and two sisters, Goldie Fiber and Bertha Reed. Surviving are two sons, Charles Edward Michael of Portland, Oregon and Robert Lee Michael of Tampa, Florida; one daughter, Martha L. Wells of Sistersville; one brother, Hershel fiber of Hamilton, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services were held 1 p.m., May 26, Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, the Rev. Robert Burdette officiating. Burial Archers Chapel Cemetery, Tyler County.
