She was born in Urbana, Ohio on Jan. 3, 1944, the daughter of the late Gaylord and Betty Terrell.
Dixie was a 1961 graduate of Urbana High School and a practicing LPN. She moved to Florida in 2006 and has many dear friends in the Englewood area.
Survivors include her loving husband, Larry of 55 years; son, Greg Bodey and daughter, Deb (Jeff) Hogue; grandchildren, Michelle Bodey, Doug (Christine) Bodey, Luke Hogue, and Josh Hogue; great-grandchild, Nora Rieman; sister, Sharon (Bill) Borland; brother, Rick Terrell; and many loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Nancy Trimble and daughter-in-law, Wende Bodey.
There will be no public service at this time.
