He was born on March 20, 1947 in Richwood, WVA to the late John Andrew Villers and Wash Tillie Rice Villers. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Deanna Daniel Villers; children, Glen Andrew Villers (Melanie), Edward John Anderson Villers (Michelle) and Kathleen Reene Sims (Jeffrey); brother, John Franklin Villers (Sherry); grandchildren, Johnnie Villers (Katlyn), Jacob Sims (Kelli), Noah Sims (Anna), Zach Sims (Kara), Victoria Villers and Grace Sims; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 9 am to 10 am at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 3595 Grand Forks Blvd., Charlottesville, VA 22911. A funeral service will begin at 10 am with Pastor Bruce Goldsmith officiating. Due to COVID 19 mandates, masks and social distancing are required. Interment will follow at Hill Garden Cemetery, 574 Dunns Shop Rd, Ruckersville, VA 22968. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Laurel Hill Baptist Church, c/o OCC Shoebox Ministry, 3595 Grand Forks Blvd., Charlottesville, VA 22911.
