  Notes	Bettie Jo Kerns, 83, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Mary Rutan Hospital. She was born April 15, 1926, in Delphos, to the late Ray and Emma Blockberger Wehner. On Feb. 17, 1945, she married Merlin R. Kerns in Wapakoneta, and he survives along with two sons, five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her brothers, Robert and Norman Wehner and a sister, Ruth Wendel preceded her in death. A 1944 graduate of Bloom High School in Wapakoneta, She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine, Mary Rutan Hospital Guild and was a substitute teacher at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. She owned and operated House of Flowers. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine. The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church, 208 W. Sandusky Ave., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
