  Notes	Evelyn Elizabeth Clower, 94, of Fairmont, died Wednesday (March 5, 2014) at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born July 20, 1919, in Aurora, a daughter of the late Emory James Wotring and Nina Gertrude Evans Wotring. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gay William Ice, and her second husband, John Grover Clower. Mrs. Clower is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Luella Ice of Fairmont, and Richard Ice of Fairmont; and three daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and Lyle Waugh of Fairmont, Jane Miller of Barrackville and Judith McDowell of Fairmont. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, as well as a stepson and his wife, Gary and Pat Clower of Richmond, Va. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Mrs. Clower was a retired sales associate from the Sears Department Store in Fairmont. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was a graduate of Aurora High School as well as Fairmont State College. Mrs. Clower was also a member of the Tri-City Sears Department Store Retirees. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1604 Morgantown Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554. The funeral service will be held in Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, at 10 a.m. today with Pastor Doug Hendrixson officiating.
